Renowned studio nendo – lead by Japanese designer Oki Sato – has unveiled the third product designed for TEN:TEN watch collection. Dubbed Buckle, this timepiece features only two elements, in comparison to a traditional one that consists of three: the watch, the wristband and a buckle that adjusts the length of the straps.
Buckle by nendo for TEN:TEN removes unnecessary parts by fusing the timepiece and buckle together into one single element. The product results in only two components as the two different straps transform into one long belt, allowing the user to easily adjust the length and fasten the watch on the top of their wrist rather than on the bottom. Similarly to other “TEN:TEN” products, the belt can easily be removed and changed into different colors and textures.
