The clients’ goal shifted towards creating a ‘forever home’ that catered to their needs and desires, as the previous house was impractical for their family of four. Despite strict design guidelines in the neighborhood, the resulting three-story house maximized every inch of usable space in a bespoke manner.
The design process was collaborative, with the homeowners actively involved in decisions such as the plaster design and angular brass inlay pattern on the main level. The couple’s collection of Italian ceramic beach tiles influenced the color palette and even found a place in a custom exterior bench.
