LG Debuts Innovative 3-in-1 Projector with Integrated Lighting and Speaker at CES 2025

LG PF600U Projector

LG

The lines between technology, design, and architecture are blurring, and LG is at the forefront of this convergence with its latest lifestyle projectors, unveiled at CES 2025. The PF600U and CineBeam S (PU615U) aren’t just projectors; they’re carefully considered pieces of technology designed to integrate seamlessly into modern living spaces, enhancing both form and function. These innovative devices build upon the success of previous models like the CineBeam Q, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in home entertainment while respecting the aesthetic integrity of the spaces they inhabit.

The PF600U takes a holistic approach to home entertainment, merging projection, audio, and ambient lighting into a single, elegant form. This CES Innovation Award winner transcends the traditional projector archetype, presenting itself as a stylish floor lamp when not in use. This design-conscious approach minimizes visual clutter and allows the device to blend effortlessly into any interior style, from minimalist to eclectic. The slender stand and subtly integrated controls speak to a refined aesthetic, while the technical capabilities remain impressive.

LG PF600U Projector

The PF600U projects a crisp FHD (1,920 x 1,080) image with 300 ANSI lumens of brightness, sufficient for comfortable viewing in most ambient lighting conditions. Integrated stereo speakers with passive radiators deliver surprisingly rich sound, eliminating the need for external audio systems in many scenarios. Perhaps the most compelling design element is the integrated LED mood lamp, offering nine colors and five brightness levels. This feature allows users to curate the perfect atmosphere for any occasion, from a vibrant movie night to a relaxing evening with soft, ambient light. The 110-degree tilting head and auto screen adjustment further enhance usability, ensuring optimal image alignment regardless of placement. The PF600U is a testament to the power of thoughtful design, demonstrating that technology can be both functional and beautiful.

LG CineBeam S Projector

The CineBeam S, on the other hand, prioritizes portability and discretion. As LG’s smallest 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector, it represents a significant advancement in miniaturization without sacrificing performance. This compact device is designed to disappear into the background when not in use, its minimalist metallic finish complementing contemporary interiors. But don’t let its size fool you; the CineBeam S packs a powerful punch, delivering stunning 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution and 500 ANSI lumens of brightness. The 154 percent DCI-P3 color space coverage ensures accurate and vibrant color reproduction, bringing movies and games to life with exceptional detail.

The ultra-short throw technology is particularly relevant in today’s smaller living spaces, allowing for large projected images (40-100 inches) with minimal distance from the wall. This eliminates the need for complex mounting solutions and maximizes space utilization. The inclusion of Dolby Atmos support further elevates the cinematic experience, providing immersive, multidimensional sound. The CineBeam S also incorporates intelligent features like Auto Screen Adjustment, Wall Color Adjustment, and Screen Scaling/Shifting, simplifying setup and ensuring optimal image quality in any environment.

“With the PF600U’s 3-in-1 versatility and the CineBeam S’s compact, ultra-short throw design, LG is setting a new standard for lifestyle projectors that cater to diverse spaces and user demands,” says YS Lee, vice president and head of the IT Business Unit at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. These projectors aren’t just about watching movies; they’re about creating immersive experiences that seamlessly integrate into the fabric of modern life, reflecting a growing trend in technology that prioritizes both performance and design. LG’s latest offerings are a clear indication of where home entertainment is headed: a future where technology enhances our living spaces, rather than dominating them.
