The warm wood surfaces against clean white and sharp edges, combined with modern Danish furniture classics, create a calm and relaxed atmosphere that breaks the boundary between indoor and outdoor life.
The wooden deck is designed with several corners and spaces that offer shade, shelter or a place in the sun – be it spring, summer or fall. The Light House is composed of two very different structures: a horizontal pent roof house, with broad windows and Douglas fir paneling, and a vertical slate-roofed A-shaped house. In the pent roof house, with its open, transparent design, you will find an open living, dining and cooking area, a bedroom and a bathroom. Here you will always feel close to nature – even from the bathtub, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding dune landscape.
The pointed roof house features two more bedrooms, a bathroom and a gallery under the gable. This room, with sleeping space for 2 children, offers panoramic views over the Flade Lake, across the dunes, and out to the Lodberg Lighthouse.
The interior features a pared-back Scandinavian design with a muted color palette and a contemporary wood burning fireplace. This house will cover almost every need, whether it is a couple in love wanting a quiet get away from it all, or a family getting together for a vacation.
