LIT has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for LIT Flash, an innovative new photo flash that uses advanced technology to reinvent how we use smartphone cameras to document life, make art and produce commercial-grade photography, providing wireless freedom of motion and strength of light not possible before.
LIT Flash eliminates the hassle of complex setups by giving you an intuitive powerful tool for fast creative production turnarounds. It even lets you trigger photo capture remotely with a single button on the flash itself, enabling you to photograph a static setup while using free motion to shape light in much the same way an assistant would do for you.

“LIT Flash is the first to deliver breakthrough usability designed exclusively for smartphone photography from day one. By adopting good mobile app design principles, we will empower people with no previous flash photography experience just as much as more proficient photographers,” says Marko Pirc, LIT Vision co-founder and Head of Product, whose previous company Lumu disrupted the light meter market with a similarly mobile-first product strategy. “LIT Flash is simple and magical to use, with no strings attached, syncing perfectly with your smartphone camera for night or day photography with exposure times ranging from a few seconds to 1/10.000s.”
LIT Flash will be shipping to backers in January 2020. The expected MSRP is $329 USD with pledges on Kickstarter running from $179 USD.
