Nothing has just unveiled a limited edition version of its Phone (2a) model, dubbed the ‘Special Edition’. This limited edition device boasts a striking silver and grey body, adorned with vibrant primary colors throughout. The combination of these hues evokes a nostalgic Super Nintendo controller vibe, a signature style that loyal Nothing fans will instantly recognize from their previous products. The brand’s intentional use of color is a testament to their commitment to unique design, setting them apart in the competitive smartphone market.
Despite its eye-catching exterior, the new limited edition Nothing Phone (2a) remains unchanged internally from its initial launch version, which sold an impressive 100,000 units on its first day. Powered by an 8-core Dimensity 7200 Pro chip and equipped with a whopping 20 GB RAM, this device delivers exceptional performance. Additionally, its 5,000 mAh battery surpasses even the flagship Phone 2, ensuring long-lasting usage. Running on Android 14, customized with Nothing’s OS 2.5, the ‘Special Edition’ comes preloaded with all 13 updates that have been rolled out to Phone (2a) users.
Featuring a stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a remarkable 120 Hz refresh rate, the Phone (2a) ‘Special Edition’ offers an immersive visual experience at an affordable price point. Its twin rear cameras, equipped with 50 MP sensors and optical image stabilization, capture breathtaking photos and videos. The main rear camera records videos in 4K resolution, while the front “selfie” camera captures content in 1080p at 60 FPS.
